Every household that is a member of the Lake Lapeer Association is responsible for paying annual dues. While all LLA Board members and Committee members volunteer their time, there are substantial costs associated with maintaining the quality of Lake Lapeer and conducting Association business.

The Association operates a fiscally responsible budget each year and carefully allocates funds as needed for the following:

• Annual fish stocking
• Administrative expenses
• Association buoy maintenance
• Communications
• Insurance
• Legal expenses
• Maintenance: islands, boat launch, access lot
• Membership meetings
• Water quality testing
• Neighborhood Watch

To become a member of the Lake Lapeer Association, download, print, and fill in the information on this form located here and mail it to the address below. Your dues, maintenance fees (if applicable) and fireworks donations can be paid via check or our on-line payment website, Cheddar Up (information on how to do this is provided with the invoice). Lake Lapeer Association dues cover the period of January through December.  If you have any questions about the Association, please feel free to contact any one of the Board of Director members.

Note: In addition to dues, some lots have a Declaration of Restrictions and mandatory yearly maintenance fee of $10 or $20 depending on the Declaration of Restrictions for that lot. See the Declaration of Restrictions page for details.
